Beau Sinclair

Beau Sinclair

Beau Sinclair founded the Sinclair Law Office in July of 2001. His desire was to build a legal practice that could offer the efficiency and expertise of a large firm while maintaining the intimacy of a small practice. The Sinclair Law Office now has seven employees that share the philosophy of client-focused legal services.

Before becoming an attorney, Beau worked for IBM as a marketing analyst, manager, and eventually, executive. It was in these positions Beau first discovered and developed a skill for analysis, mediation and negotiation that has proven very useful in his work in private practice.

Beau received his undergraduate degree in Organizational Behavior from Concordia College in St. Paul, Minnesota, and went on to acquire his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. In 2000, Beau earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law, graduating first in his class and demonstrating the work ethic that would come to define the Sinclair Law Office.

Beau is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Smith County Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas Family Section, and the Family Law Section of the Smith County Bar Association. Beau has been the Chair of the Family Law Section of the Smith County Bar Association.

Kristen Senkyr

While in law school Kristen worked in the Family Law Clinic at Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. During her time in the clinic she was confronted with the reality of the makeup of the modern family. She encountered everything from grandparents raising their grandchildren to unmarried parents with custody and child support issues. Having grown up during the era in which the nuclear family of the past began morphing into something that looked quite different, Kristen found herself drawn to the area of family law. She saw the challenges faced by modern families as they strive to actually live day-to-day with a court-ordered visitation schedule, or how difficult it can be to support children in two households. Kristen saw the importance of helping modern families develop custody plans that work in real life. She strives to develop unique and truly workable solution for each individual family.

Kristen received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. In 2009, Kristen earned her Juris Doctorate degree from the Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.

Kristen is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the Smith County Bar Association, the Family Law Section of the Smith County Bar Association, the Women’s Section of the Smith County Bar Association, and the Smith County Young Lawyers Association.
